A Quilt ESKape is a great weekend away in the country and many quilters come back time and time again to enjoy a weekend of carefree sewing, eating, chatting and laughing.

Quilt ESKapes are held a couple of times a year in Esk, Qld. Australia.  Esk is 100km west of Brisbane. From Brisbane you can come in either from the  south side over Wivenhoe Dam, or from the north side via Somerset Dam. Both routes are scenic with excellent roads.  People travelling from the South Burnett drive via D'Aguilar Hwy and take the Esk turn past Colinton.  When you book for the first time, your info kit will include a map.

There are 2 types:

  • General Quilt ESKape every autumn and spring
  • Special Quilt ESKape anytime.  A special Quilt ESKape can be requested by any group of quilters. Minimum number is 7. Get 10 and the organiser goes for free!
